Brinker is good....!!!

I hanged out yesterday with Stallion, Moey, and Nibaq.....

I met Stallion at DD salmia and we reserved the top floor for the meeting, Moey came later and we headed to this sheesha joint (Gahwa), I for some reason began to doze off, and felt like I needed to sleep, I think my brain shut down cause I don't recall any of our conversations......!!!

Nibaq came, and I think we talked about food, because I think we headed to our cars to drop something and went walking (which is unusual in Kuwait) to see from where we'll eat....!!!

we past through this new joint called Brinker and it was empty, Nibaq said something about an advise not to go to an empty restaurant, cause it's empty for a reason, I don't recall why we didn't go with the advise, we just went there.....!!!

I remember that it was cozy and calm, dim lights and a good place to sleep in, and it was in the same building as "Fareej swailih".....!!!

I ordered chicken liver and the chefs salad, Moey had ceasar's salad, and something, Nibaq had Lasagnia, and weird yummy bread.....!!!
all was good I liked the liver, but the portions of each order was gigantic.....!!!

I dozed again while eating and I think Moey and Nibaq realized that......!!!
the rest is blank and I can't remember what happened.....!!!

الساعة الثانية فجرا، اتجت انا و هشام و عمر الى مطعم "فريج صويلح" حيث استمتعنا بوجبة لذيذة من مجبوس الدياي، و مشاهدة فقرات منوعة من اعمال عبدالحسين عبدالرضا، و هذا ما القى بسؤال لا اعتقد بأن كثيرين ناقشوا فيه او تباحثوه.... من هو الافضل.... عبدالحسين او الفرج..... حسينوه و لا سعد......؟!؟!

الاجماع في ما عداي يقول بأن حسينوه افضل بكثير من سعد الذي يكن له كل الاحترام و التقدير، حسينوه حرج و سعد مسيكين و طيب.....!!!

عبدالحسين عبدالرضا احسن ممثل بالكويت، و في تاريخ الكويت، و مسرحياته هي الابرز و الافضل و الامتع، و قد قام بكتابتها و تلحين اغنياتها و شحذ اهتمامات الجمهور لقضايا آمن باهميتها،

و لكن عبدالحسين ضغيط.....!!! راعي طنازة و مؤسس الفن الاستهزائي او مسرح الشماتة و الضغاط.....!!!

حسين رعى جيلا لا يفقه بالفن سوى: هذا شواربك هذا برغي، هذا خشمك هذا لمبة، هذا حلجك هذا حصالة، هذا راسك هذا رقية.....!!!

و ان مسرحية طولها 3 او اربع ساعات تحتاج لحشوها بممثل او اثنين من ذوي الوزن الثقيل و واحد او وحدة عصلة و اربع خوال و جنس و ابيضاني افدع و خبل من ذوي الاعاقات الذهنية، و كلهم يتبادلون الادوار النسائية كالرقيعي فوق طاولة شطرنج.......!!!

قد يزعل طارق العلي مني حين اقول له بأن جل اعماله هي من نوعية ما سبق ذكره..... و لا شي هادف يخرج من المسرحية او يفيد حضورها......!!! لا تقل لي بأن سلق موضوع مثل الشباب و اهمالهم من قبل مجتمعنا و ذكر مشاكل البدون او او او او خلال سحبة الضغاط و انتظار الجمهور ليصفق هو هدف...... دائما ما اسمعك تتكلم عن اهمية احترام الجمهور للفنان و رفضك ان يغادر الجمهور المسرح بعد ختامه من دون تصفيقهم للممثلين و تطالب باحترام الفنان، و لكن اين احترام الفنان للجمهور...... هل اعمال سيناريوات بو ربع ساعة تكفي لتقديم قضية مصيرية......!!!

لنرجع لموضوعنا الرئيسي... عبدالحسين عبدالرضا لم يتعب في تقديم كاراكتارات منوعة ، كل اداوه قام بها في قالب واحد و ملامح واحدة و طريقة واحدة و هي شخصية حسينوه... الشاب العيار كما قال اخونا بو الجيج .... حسينوه كان يضغط و يعاير و قمة ادائه التمثيلي هي ان يقف كالعامود و يبدي يحورف بويهه او يغمز بعيونه و يفرفر......!!! هذا كل اللي عنده......!!!

سعد الفرج، و هو المفضل لدي بالمناسبة، حاصل على البكالوريوس في الإخراج والإنتاج التلفزيوني من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عام 1974 ....

• دورة في معهد الاذاعة البريطانية (B.B.C ) في الإخراج والإنتاج التلفزيوني عام 1969
• دبلوم ( A.A ) في الإخراج والإنتاج التلفزيوني من كولومبيا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عام 1973
• دبلوم ( A.A ) في الإخراج المسرحي من ( لوس انجلوس ) سيتي كلوج في الولايات المتحدة عام 1974
• بكالوريس ( A.B ) في الإخراج والإنتاج التلفزيوني من كولومبيا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عام 1974
  

وعمل رئيسا لقسم الدراما في تلفزيون الكويت من عام 1962 ولغاية 1984 ويعمل حاليا مستشارا للدراما في تلفزيون الكويت....
وكتب الفنان سعد الفرج وألف العديد من المسرحيات وقدم الكثير من الأعمال الدرامية في الإذاعة والتلفزيون كما شارك في كتابة وتمثيل عدد من الأفلام:

و و و و و ..... سعد الفرج نجح و ابدع في وجود و في غياب حسينوه، حسينوه احتاج سعد او غير سعد كي يبرز على ظهورهم، كسعاد عبدالله و حياة الفهد و المرحوم خالد النفيسي.... هم كانوا يمثلون الدور الدرامي و هو كان يهتم بالجانب الكوميدي و اضحاك الجمهور، اجمل و احلى مسرحياتنا لم يكن فيها.... علي جناح التبريزي، و حامي الديار هما افضل مسرحيات كويتية في نظري لم يكن فيها عبدالحسين ، افضل فلم رغم عدم منافسته لأي فلم آخر "بس يا بحر" عبدالحسين عبدالرضا كان يكش ذبان فيه.......!!!

في حين سعد كان ركنا اساسيا في جميع هذه الاعمال.... كان يوصل البسمة و الضحكة مع الفكرة و المعنى.....!!!

لا استطيع ان اكون محايدا في هذا الموضوع لأني لست محايدا بطبعي.....!!!

عبدالحسين يضحكني و لكن سعد اداءه يمتعني.....!!!

اعرف انني ساكون تحت وطئة نقاشات حادة من الشباب اليوم و لكن هذا رأي.....

المضحك في البارحة اننا و في خضم نقاشنا، و اندماجنا في الحوار اثناء بلع المجبوس دخل على الخط رجل الظاهر كان يستمع لحوارنا و تحمس شوي بالموضوع.... المهم الرجل ابدى رأيه في الموضوع و افحمني فيه، و رغم عدم تزحزح رأي الا انه كثيرا مما قاله كان يحمل الحقيقة... ما اضحكني هو رده علي حينما تحججت عليه بجزئية الجوائز و التكريم و التقدير الذي حضي به سعد الفرج و كيف انه اكثر من عبدالحسين....

Japanese Drums in Kuwait......!!!

the Embassy of Japan in Kuwait is organizing two cultural events this month;

1. Art Exhibition “A New Generation Art from Japan”.....

46 contemporary art works of 11 Japanese young artists are exhibited
Started from January 16 until 31 at Kuwait Arts Association Gallery – Hawally
Open 10:00 – 13:00 and 17:00 – 21:00

Please visit the venue if you are interested in it.... but my friends say it's not as good as last year's exhibition......!!!

2. Japanese Music Concert “Musa Ensamble”

The music concert of Japanese drums, Shamisen (3 strings traditional instrument) and Koto (Japanese harp).....
The concert will be held next wednesday January 31, 2007, at Abdul Aziz Hussain theatre in Mishrif cooperative society....
The hall will be open from 19:30 and the concert will start from 20:00, please do come early, seats are limited......!!!

Artistes Jun Takada, Tomohiko Inoue, Ryusho Oyama, Hirohide Oyama, Kiyoshi Ipukuro and Nobushiro Kikuchi are to perform on the Shamisen, Koto and the ever popular Taiko instruments....



Shamisen is a three-stringed instrument described as a Japanese version of the Arabic oud, although I see it as a Japanese Rababa...!!! It is also called Sangen (literally "three strings") played with a plectrum called a bachi.....

Koto, a 13- to 20-stringed instrument, is plucked with the fingers of the right hand - similar to a musician playing the Arabic qanoon....

It is derived from Chinese zithers and is about 180cm long. Players make base pitches by moving the 13 bridges before playing. They use three fingers to pluck the strings. ....

Taiko are Japanese drums, popular the world over. The word taiko means "drum" in Japanese.
Outside Japan, the word is often used to refer to any of the various Japanese drums and to the relatively recent art form of ensemble taiko drumming (sometimes called more specifically, "Kumi Daiko").....

Musa's name is derived from the Japanese word meaning Samurai, suggesting to modern Japanese people an image of the warriors who once ruled Japan and their pursuit of the unique set of ethics and sense of beauty found in the martial arts....

ok, after that we tryed the "Blue ray" Lady in the Water, and to tell you the trueth, I didn't see that resolution and hightened quality every one is talking about.......!!!

The 25th Safat Bloggers Meeting.......!!!

I know it's late, but I wrote it on the same day and forgot to post it.....!!!

so first of all it was a great meeting, 15 blogger from the Safat's 520 blogs gathered in Dunkin d. Salmia, 25 meetings have passed, two years and one month have passed since the first Safat bloggers meeting......!!!

we broke so many records, first time we past the "one page barrier", and I think Safat has the highest Number of members among arab localy-based aggregators, and one of the first too, have to confirm it with Nibaq, we have to make things clear, the Safat is the best active and influential Aggregator in the meddle east, we need a campain so that Safat gains the proper coverage in Global voice......!!!

so back to the meeting, we changed the meeting location, and I thing this one is better, bigger room for more bloggers, and we hope more people would attend next meetings.....!!!
